CADUCEUS ROD & DOCTOR'S SYMBOL

Are our doctors using the wrong symbol???

Yes, this symbol is being used by many of our doctors even today. But my question is “what does it signify, is it related to medicine in any way, if it does not; then what is the actual medical symbol”.

The symbol shown here is “Caduceus rod”. Caduceus rod is the staff of Greek god Hermes. Hermes (also known as Mercury in Rome) is the god of travel, trade and thieves. He is also the messenger of Greek gods. Even AMA (American Medical Association) also became confused with this symbol and considered “Caduceus rod” as it’s official logo for many years. The word “caducity” itself stands for senility meaning the infirmity of old age. Why or how is it related to real medical symbol? What the staff of a god of thieves got to do with medicine? Let’s discuss…

The symbol shown in this picture depicts “Asclepius rod”. Asclepius is the Greek god associated with healing and medicine. According to Greek mythology Asclepius is the son of Great Greek god Apollo.

Asclepius had two daughters Hygieia and Panacea. Hygieia is the goddess of cleanliness (the word“hygiene” originated from hygieia). Panacea was the goddess of treatments and therapies. There were many worshipping centers in ancient Greece in which Asclepius was the main deity. Patients who went there became cured from all their illness. Myths say people even grew many non poisonous snakes in the worshipping centers which cured patients .Even the famous “Hippocrates oath” starts as “I swear by Apollo the physician, Asclepius, Hygieia, Panacea and all the gods and goddesses…”

It signifies the importance of our beloved doctors and medical boards to recheck the symbols they use.

“Caduceus rod” and its conspiracy theories...

The picture shown above depicts “Baphomet”-a world famous symbol which is used for or accused to be used for occult practices. As every reader of this blog I don’t know it is true or false. As my point of Concern is not occultism or black magic let me present you a common conspiracy theory.

Observe The rod in the laps of the figure, doesn’t it seem to you as the “Caduceus rod” without the wings. Is it???

If we zoom out the image we could observe the wings also. Yes a pair of them is present at the back of the figure. Does that mean all doctors or medical heads are occultists? No, never it probably occurred due to a mistake of someone in the past. But this incident tells us a story. A story with lots of lessons to learn.  Everything in this world including a coin has two sides a head and a tail, good and evil.

It’s up to you to decide what is good for you. First know the meanings of every symbols or ciphers that we use. Then comes the easiest part, just implement it.

Ashwamedha yaga

What is "Ashwamedha yaga"???

"Ashwamedha yaga" was a traditonal ritual done by kings and royal rulers of ancient India. In this ritual the king cut loose a royal knight along with a military troop which travels a lot of places in land. They wander many terittories, forests and even deserts. After one year of this yaga, the knight comes back to the
king if not defeated or held up by any other rulers."Doing Ashwamedha yaga was considered as a honour.
In ancient times "Ashwamedha yaga" was done by kings to show their strength and power.

Here we too are doing an "Ashwamedha yaga",a yaga with knowledge.
"Cut loose the dark knight of knowledge, let it bring grace to you".
